PÊREL VIR ELKE DAG:

(Handelinge 8:21-25)

21. "Jy het geen deel of lot in hierdie saak nie, want jou hart is nie reg voor God nie. 

22. "Bekeer jou dan van hierdie boosheid van jou, en bid God of die gedagte van jou hart jou miskien vergewe mag word. 

23. "Want ek sien dat jy in 'n gal van bitterheid en bande van ongeregtigheid is."

24. Maar Simon het geantwoord en gesê: 'Bid julle tot die Here vir my, sodat niks van wat julle gesê het, oor my mag kom nie.'

25. Nadat hulle dan kragtig getuig en die Woord van die Here gespreek het, het hulle na Jerusalem terug gegaan en die evangelie aan baie dorpe van die Samaritane (op hulle pad terug) verkondig.

(Acts 8:21-25) 

21. "You have neither part nor lot in this matter, for your heart is all wrong in God's sight (it is not straightforward or right or true) before God.

22. "So repent of this depravity and wickedness of yours and pray to the Lord that if possible, this contriving thought and purpose of your heart may be removed and disregarded and forgiven you. 

23. "For I see that you are in the gall of bitterness and in a bond forged by iniquity (to fetter souls)."

24. And Simon answered: 'Pray for me (beseech the Lord, both of you), that nothing of what you have said may befall me!'

25. Now when the apostles had borne their testimony and preached the message of the Lord, they went back to Jerusalem, proclaiming the glad tidings (Gospel) to many villages of the Samaritans (on the way).

(Ek vertrou die Heilige Gees van God om my van die korrekte Skriflesing gedeelte te voorsien elke dag, volgens u behoeftes en verwagtinge. Aan Hom kom toe alle eer, heerlilheid, krag, mag, majesteit, lofprysing, aanbidding, en danksegging, van nou af tot in ewigheid.
