PÊREL VIR ELKE DAG:

(Handelinge 10:12-15)

12. Daarin was al die viervoetige diere en die wilde en kruipende diere en die voëls van die hemel. 

13. Toe kom daar 'n stem na hom: "Staan op Petrus, slag en eet."

14. En Petrus sê: 'Nooit nie Here, want ek het nooit iets onheiligs of onreins geëet nie.' 

15. En weer het die stem vir die tweede keer na hom gekom: "Wat God rein gemaak het mag jy nie onheilg ag nie!"

PEARL FOR EACH DAY:

(Acts 10:12-15)

12. It contained all kinds of quadrupeds and wild beasts, and creeping things of the earth and birds of the air. 

13. And there came a voice to him saying: "Rise up Peter, kill and eat."

14. But Peter said: 'No, by no means, Lord, for I have never eaten anything that is common and unhallowed or (ceremonially) unclean.'

15. And the voice came to him again a second time: "What God Has cleansed and pronounced clean, do not you defile and profane by regarding and calling common and unhallowed or unclean!"

(Ek vertrou die Heilige Gees van God om my van die korrekte Skriflesing gedeelte te voorsien elke dag, volgens u behoeftes en verwagtinge. Aan Hom kom toe alle eer, heerlilheid, krag, mag, majesteit, lofprysing, aanbidding, en danksegging, van nou af tot in ewigheid.
