PÊREL VIR ELKE DAG:

(Handelinge 9:10-15)

10. En daar was 'n dissipel in Damaskus met die naam van Ananias; en die Here het vir hom in 'n gesig gesê: "Ananías!" En hy antwoord: 'Hier is ek Here.' 

11. "Staan op en gaan na die straat wat genoem word Reguit straat, en vra in die huis van Judas na 'n man wat genoem word Saulus van Tarsus, want kyk, hy bid."

12. En hy het in 'n gesig 'n man met die naam van Ananías sien inkom en hom die hande oplê, sodat hy weer kon sien.  

13. En Ananías antwoord: 'Here, ek het van baie mense aangaande hierdie man gehoor, hoeveel kwaad hy U heiliges in Jerusalem aangedoen het;

14. 'en hy het volmag van die owerpriesters om almal te boei wat U Naam aanroep.'

15. Maar die Here sê vir hom: "Gaan, want hy is vir My 'n uitverkore werktuig om My Naam te dra voor nasies en konings en die kinders van Israel."

(Acts 9:10-15)

10. Now, there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him the Lord said in a vision: "Ananias!" And he said: 'Here I am Lord.'

11. So the Lord said to him: "Arise and go to the street called Straight, and enquire at the house of Judas, for one called Saul of Tarsus, for behold, he is praying. 

12. And in a vision he saw a man named Ananias coming in and putting his hand on him, so that he might receive his sight. 

13. Then Ananias said: 'Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much harm he had done to Your saints in Jerusalem.' 

14. 'And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on Your Name.'

15. But the Lord said to him: "Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine, to bear My Name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel."

(Ek vertrou die Heilige Gees van God om my van die korrekte Skriflesing gedeelte te voorsien elke dag, volgens u behoeftes en verwagtinge. Aan Hom kom toe alle eer, heerlilheid, krag, mag, majesteit, lofprysing, aanbidding, en danksegging, van nou af tot in ewigheid.
