PÊREL VIR ELKE DAG:

(jesaja 63:14-16)

14. Soos vee wat aftrek in die laagte, het die Gees van die Here hulle na rus gelei. Só het U, U volk gelei, om vir U 'n Heerlike Naam te maak. 

15. Kyk van die hemel neer en aanskou uit U heilige en Heerlike woning. Waar is U ywer en U Magtige dade? Die ontroering van U binneste en U barmhartighede, het hulle jeens my ingehou. 

16. Want U is ons Vader! Want Abraham weet van ons nie, en Israel ken ons nie. U O Here, is ons Vader; ons Verlosser, is van ouds af U Naam.

PEARL FOR EACH DAY:

(Isaiah 63:14-16)

14. Like the cattle that go down into the valley (to find better pasture, refuge and rest), the Spirit of the Lord caused them to rest. So did You lead Your people (Lord), to make for Yourself a beautiful and Glorious Name, (to prepare the way for the acknowledgement of Your Name by all nations). 

15. Look down from heaven and see from the dwelling place of Your holiness  and Your glory. Where are Your zeal and Your jealousy and Your Mighty acts (which You formerly did for Your people)? Your yearning pity and the (multitude of) compassions of Your heart, are restrained and withheld from me. 

16. For (surely) You are our Father, even though Abraham (our ancestor), does not know us, and Israel (Jacob) does not acknowledge us; You O Lord, are still our Father, our Redeemer from Everlasting, is Your Name. 

(Ek vertrou die Heilige Gees van God om die korrekte Skriflesing gedeelte aan my deur te gee elke dag, volgens u behoeftes en verwagtinge. 

Aan Hom kom toe alle eer, heerlikheid, krag, mag, lofprysing, aanbidding en danksegging van nou, tot in ewigheid.
