(Deuteronomium 6:22-25) 

22. "En die Here het groot en onheilbrengende tekens en wonders, voor ons oë, in Egipte aan Farao en sy hele huis gedoen. 

23. "En Hy het ons daarvandaan uitgelei om ons in te bring, sodat Hy ons die land kan gee wat Hy aan ons vaders met 'n eed beloof het. 

24. "En die Here het ons beveel om al hierdie insettinge te volbring, om die Here onse God te vrees, dat dit met ons altyd goed mag gaan, en ons in die lewe te hou soos dit vandag is. 

25. "En dit sal geregtigheid vir ons wees as ons sorgvuldig al hierdie gebooie hou voor die Here onse God, soos Hy ons beveel het.

(Deuteronomy 6:22-25)

22. "And the Lord showed signs and wonders, great and evil against Egypt, against Fharaoh and his household, before our eyes; 

23. "and He brought us out from there, that He might bring us in to give us the land which He swore to our fathers. 

24. "And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, (to reverently) fear the Lord, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is this day. 

25. "And it will be accounted as righteousness (conformity to God's will in word, thought and action) for us, if we are watchful to do all this commandments before the Lord our God, as He Has commanded us."

(Ek vertrou die Heilige Gees van God om die korrekte Skriflesing gedeelte aan my deur te gee elke dag, volgens u behoeftes en verwagtinge. 

Aan Hom kom toe alle eer, heerlikheid, krag, mag, lofprysing, aanbidding en danksegging van nou, tot in ewigheid.
