PÊREL VIR ELKE DAG:

(Lukas 9:13-17)

13. Maar Hy sê vir hulle: "Gee julle vir hulle iets om te eet." Maar hulle antwooord: 'Ons het nie meer as vyf brode en twee visse nie, tensy ons voedsel gaan koop vir al hierdie mense.'

14. Want daar was omtrent vyf-duisend manne. Maar Hy sê vir Sy dissipels: "Laat hulle in groepe van vyftig sit."

15. En hulle het dit gedoen, en almal laat sit. 

16. Toe neem Hy die vyf brode en die twee visse, en nadat Hy opgekyk het na die hemel, seën Hy dit en breek dit en gee Hy dit aan die dissipels om dit aan die skare voor te sit. 

17. En hulle het geëet en is almal versadig, en wat vir hulle van die brokstukkke oorgebly het, is daar twaalf mandjies vol opgetel.

PEARL FOR EACH DAY: 

(Luke 9:13-17)

13. He replied: "You give them something to eat." They answered: 'We only have five loaves of bread and two fish - unless we go and buy food for all this crowd.'

14. (About five thousand men were there). But He said to His disciples: "Have them sit down in groups of about fifty each."

15. The disciples did so, and everyone sat down. 

16. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, He gave thanks and broke them. Then He gave them to the disciples, to distribute to the people. 

17. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. 

(Ek vertrou die Heilige Gees van God om daagliks die korrekte Skrifgedeelte aan my deur te gee, volgens u behoeftes en verwagtinge. Aan Hom kom toe alle lof, eer, heerlikheid, majesteit, lofprysing, aanbidding en danksegging van nou tot in alle ewigheid.
