PÊREL VIR ELKE DAG.

(Lukas 8:26-29)

26. En hulle het geseil na die land van die Gadaréners, wat reg anderkant Galiléa is. 

27. En toe Hy aan wal uitklim, kom 'n sekere man uit die stad Hom tegemoet, wat vir 'n geruime tyd met duiwels besete was en geen klere gedra het nie; hy het ook nie in 'n huis gewoon nie, maar in die grafte. 

28. En toe hy Jesus sien, skreeu hy uit en val voor Hom neer, en sê met 'n groot stem: 'Wat het ons met U te doen Jesus, Seun van die Allerhoogste God? Ek bid U, moet my nie pynig nie -'

29. want Hy het aan die onreine gees bevel gegee om uit die man uit te gaan. Want baiekeer het hy hom saamgesleep; en hulle het hom gebind met kettings en voetboeie om oor hom wag te hou; maar hy het die boeie uitmekaar geruk, en die duiwel het hom in die woestyn gedrywe.

PEARL FOR EACH DAY:

(Luke 8:26-29)

26. Then they came to the country of the Gerasenes, which is opposite Galilee.  

27. Now when Jesus stepped out on land, there met Him a certain man out of the town who had (was possessed) by demons. For a long time he wore no clothes, and he lived not in a house, but in the tombs. 

28. And when he saw Jesus, he raised a deep (terrible) cry (from the depth of his throat) and fell down before Him (in terror) and shouted loudly: 'What have You to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? (What  have we in common?) I beg You, do not torment me!'

29. For Jesus was already commanding the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For many times it had snatched and held him; he was kept under guard and bound with chains and fetters, but he would break the bonds and be driven by the demon into the wilderness (desert).

(Ek vertrou die Heilige Gees van God om die korrekte Skriflesing aan my deur te gee elke dag, volgens u behoeftes en verwagtinge. 

Aan Hom kom toe alle eer, heerlikheid, lof, prys, danksegging en aanbidding, van nou tot in ewigheid.
