PÊREL VIR ELKE DAG:

(Handelinge 6:5-7)

5. En die woord het byval gevind by die hele menigte; en hulle het gekies Stéphanus vol van geloof en van die Heilige Gees, Filippus en Procórus en Nikánor en Timon en Pármanas en Nicoláüs, 'n Jodegenoot van Antiocië; 

6. wat hulle voor die apostels gestel het; en hulle het gebid en hulle die hande ophelê. 

7. En die Woord van God het toegeneem, die getal van die dissipels in Jerusalem het baie vermeerder, en 'n groot menigte van priesters het gehoorsaam geword aan die geloof.

(Acts 6:5-7)

5. And the suggestion pleased the whole assembly, and they selected Stephen, a man full of faith (a strong and welcome belief that Jesus is the Messiah) and full of, and controlled by the Holy Spirit, and Philip and Prochorus an Nicanor, and Timon and Parmenas, and Nicolaus, a proselyte (convert) from Antioch. 

6. These they presented to the apostles, who after prayer laid their hands on them.  

7. And the message of God kept on spreading, and the number of disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem; and (besides) a large number priests were obedient to the faith (in Jesus as the Messiah, through Whom is obtained eternal salvation in the kingdom of God).  

(Ek vertrou die Heilige Gees van God om my van die korrekte Skriflesing gedeelte te voorsien elke dag, volgens u behoeftes en verwagtinge. Aan Hom kom toe alle eer, heerlilheid, krag, mag, majesteit, lofprysing, aanbidding, en danksegging, van nou af tot in ewigheid.
