(3 Johannes 1:5-7)

5. Geliefde Gajus, jy handel getrou in alles wat jy doen vir die broeders, en dit vir vreemdelinge -

6. Wat van jou liefde voor die gemeente getuig het. Jy sal goed doen as jy hulle voorthelp op 'n voor God waardige wyse.  

7. Want vir Sy Naam het hulle uitgegaan, sonder om iets van die heidene te neem.

A PEARL FOR EACH DAY: 

(3 John 1:5-7)

5. Beloved Gaius, you do faithfully whatever you do for the brethren and (especially when they are strangers) -

6. They have testified before the Church of your love and friendship. You will do well to forward them on their journey (and you will please do so, in a way worthy of God's service).  

7. For these (travelling missionaries) have gone out for His Name's sake and are accepting nothing from the Gentiles (the heathen, the non-Israelites.)

(Ek vertrou die Heilige Gees van God om die korrekte "PÊREL" deur te gee elke dag, volgens u behoeftes. Aan Hom kom toe alle eer, heerlikheid, lofprysing, aanbidding, en danksegging nou en tot in ewigheid.
