(3 Johannes 1:8,9)

8. Ons behoort dan sulke mense goed te ontvang, sodat ons medewerkers van die Waarheid kan word.  

9. Ek het aan die gemeente geskrywe, maar Diótrefes, wat onder hulle die eerste wil wees, steur hom nie aan ons nie.

A PEARL FOR EACH DAY:

8. So we ourselves ought to support such people (to welcome and provide for them), in order that we may be fellow workers in the Truth (the whole Gospel) and cooperate with its teachers.   

9. I have written briefly to the Church; but Diotrephes, who likes to take lead among them and put himself first, do not acknowledge my authority, and refuses to accept my suggestions or listen to me. 

(Ek vertrou die Heilige Gees van God om die korrekte "PÊREL" deur te gee elke dag, volgens u behoeftes. Aan Hom kom toe alle eer, heerlikheid, lofprysing, aanbidding, en danksegging nou en tot in ewigheid.
