'N PÊREL VIR ELKE DAG:

(Openbaring 2:1-4)

1. Skryf aan die engel van die gemeente in Éfese: Dit sê Hy wat die sewe sterre in Sy regterhand hou, wat wandel tussen die sewe goue kandelaars:

2. "Ek ken jou werke en jou arbeid en jou lydsaamheid, en dat jy slegte mense nie kan verdra nie; en dat jy dié op die proef gestel het wat sê dat hulle apostels is en dit nie is nie, en hulle leuenaars bevind het;

3. "En dat jy verdra het en lydsaamheid besit, en dat jy ter wille van My Naam gearbei en nie moeg geword het nie. 

4. "Maar Ek het dit teen jou dat jy jou eerste liefde verlaat het."

A PEARL FOR EACH DAY: 

(Revelation 2:1-4)

1. To the angel (messenger) of the assembly (church) in Ephesus write: "These are the words of Him who holds the seven stars (which are the messengers of the seven Churches) in His right hand, Who goes about among the seven golden lampstands (which are the seven Churches):

2. "I know your industry and activities, laborious toil and trouble, and your patient endurance, and how  you cannot tolerate wicked (men), and have tested and have critically appraised those who call (themselves) apostles (special messengers of Christ), yet are not, and have found them to be imposters and liars.  

3. "I know that you are enduring patiently and are bearing up for My Name's sake, and you have not fainted or become exhausted or grown weary.  

4. But I have this (one charge to make) against you: That you have left (abandoned) the love that you had at first. (You have abandoned Me, your first love).

(Ek vertrou die Heilige Gees van God om die korrekte "PÊREL" deur te gee elke dag, volgens u behoeftes. Aan Hom kom toe alle eer, heerlikheid, lofprysing, aanbidding, en danksegging nou en tot in ewigheid.
