'N PÊREL VIR ELKE DAG:

(Johannes 21:13-17)

13. En Jesus het gekom en die brood geneem en dit aan hulle gegee, so ook die vis. 

14. Dit was al die derde keer dat Jesus aan Sy dissiels verskyn het, nadat Hy opgestaan het uit die dode. 

15. Toe hulle dan klaar was met die more-ete, vra Jesus vir Simon Petrus: "Simon, seun van Jona, het jy My waarlik lief, meer as hulle hier?" Hy antwoord Hom: "Ja Here, U weet dat ek U liefhet." Hy sê vir hom: "Laat My lammers wei."

16. Hy vra hom weer die tweede maal: "Simon, seun van Jona, het jy my waarlik lief?" Hy antwoord Hom: "Ja Here, U weet dat ek U liefhet." Hy sê vir Hom: "Pas My skape op."

17. Hy vra hom die derde maal: "Simon, seun van Jona, het jy My lief?" Petrus het bedroef geword, omdat Hy hom die derde maal vra: "Het jy My lief?" En hy antwoord: "Here, U weet alles, U weet dat ek U liefhet." Jesus sê vir hom: "Laat My skape wei."

A PEARL FOR EACH DAY: 

(John 21:13-17)

13. Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and so also, with the fish.   

14. This was now the third time that Jesus revealed Himself (appeared, was manifest) to His disciples after He had risen from the dead.  

15. When they have eaten, Jesus said to Simon Peter: "Simon Peter, son of John, do you love Me more than these (others do - with reasoning,

Intentional, spiritual devotion, as one loves the Father)?" He said to Him: "Yes Lord, You know that I love You (that I have deep instictive, personal affection for You, as for a close friend)." He said to him: "Feed My lambs." 

16. Again He said to him a second time: "Simon, son of John, do you love Me (with reasoning, intentional, spiritual devotion, as one loves the Father)?" He said to Him: "Yes Lord, You know that I love You (that I have a deep, instinctive, personal affection for You, as for a close friend)." He said to him: "Shepherd, (tend) My sheep." 

17. He said to Him the third time: "Simon, son of John, do you love Me (with a deep , instinctive, personal affection for Me, as for a close friend)?" Peter was grieved, (was saddened and hurt) that He should ask Him the third time: "Do you love Me?"  And he said to Him: "Lord, You know everything, You know that I love You. (that I have a deep, instinctive, personal affection for You, as a close friend)." Jesus said to him: "Feed My sheep."

(Ek vertrou die Heilige Gees van God om die korrekte "PÊREL" deur te gee elke dag, volgens u behoeftes. Aan Hom kom toe alle eer, heerlikheid, lofprysing, aanbidding, en danksegging nou en tot in ewigheid.
